Alice Edgeman

Virginia Alice Edgeman, 55, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at a local health care facility.She was born in Chattanooga, on Feb. 23, 1958. Alice was a graduate of Brainerd High School and UTK, earning a bachelors degree in teaching. She was most proud of her extensive travels to other parts of the U.S.She was preceded in death by her father, Monroe Edgeman Sr.; mother, Kathleen Brown Edgeman; and her brother, Allen Edgeman.Alice is survived by her loving brother, Karl (Christina) Edgeman.She will be missed by her family.She was cared for by Hospice of Chattanooga and many thanks go to this excellent team from the family.In lieu of flowers, gifts may be given to cover funeral expenses at Comtrust Federal Credit Union c/o Karl Edgeman and any remaining funds will be donated to American Cancer Society.A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. today at First Lutheran Church.Visit www.lanefh.com to share condolences.Arrangements by Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
