Mary Bagala

Mary Bagala, 96, of Chattanooga formerly of Toms River, N.J., died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013. She was a resident of Standifer Place Health Care Center for the past four years. She was born April 11, 1917 in Perth Amboy, N.J., to the late Andro Hlifko and Annie Frunik Hlifko. She was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church. Mrs. Bagala was retired from John F. Kennedy Hospital as a floor secretary.She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Bagala two grandchildren Louis and Richard.Survivors include two children Beverly Bagala and her husband Richard Anderko and Paul Bagala and his wife Barbara; brother John Hlivka; grandchildren Debbie, Michelle, Laura, Vincent, Cristine, Ciara and Paul.The family will receive friends at the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home today from 5-8 p.m.Funeral mass will be celebrated 8:30 a.m. today, St. Stephens Catholic ChurchThe family would like to thank the Staff of East 1 Standifer Place for all their compassionate care.Please share your thoughts and memories at www.chattanogaeastbrainerdchapel.com.
