Lorraine Peterson

Lorraine Phyllis Peterson, 84, passed away on Aug. 21, 2013, in Tequesta, Fla.She was born Sept. 25, 1928 in Alexandria, Minn. She was a loving wife of 63 years and a giving mother.She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Peterson; parents, Axel and Minnie Linder; sister, Shirley Linder; and brothers, Phillip, David and John.She is survived by son, Bill (Jan) Peterson, of Madison, Ala.; daughter, Kathy Peterson, son in-law, Tom Knapp, of Tequesta, Fla.; two grandchildren, Jamie (Michelle) Peterson, of Frisco, Texas, Jill (Ted) Amey, of Madison, Ala., and six great-grandchildren.A memorial will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at Shelter A.
