Georgia Fay Diamond, 75, of Chattanooga, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013.She was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Graduate of Chattanooga State Community College.Fay was preceded in death by her parents, Joel and Georgia Longley; husband, Nathaniel Louis Diamond.Survivors include her children, Lisa Smith, Michael (Janet) Diamond, Brian (Susan) Diamond; brother, William Moreland; sister, Linda Dickey; six grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends for visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today, Oct. 23, at the funeral home.A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.Visit www.hamiltonfuneraloptions.com to share words of condolences and view the memorial tribute.Arrangements are by Hamilton Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson, 423-531-3975.
