Frances H. Bowman, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013. She was 94 years old.She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area. Frances attended White Oak Baptist Church and was a member of the Ester Sunday School Class. She worked at Davenport Silk Mill for several years and then Frances managed the Miller Brothers Co. Photograph Studio for 31 years before retiring in 1973. She loved her job photographing babies and high school yearbook photos and she just loved people.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Holder and Coke Bowman; parents, Frank and Ellen Hope; siblings, Roy and Dewey Hope and Mildred Oakey.Frances is survived by her son, Carl Holder; brother-in-law, Gordon Oakey; and several nieces and nephews.
