Mandie Rachael Chitwood, "My Beautiful B", "Our Mandles" departed this world on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, as a result from injuries sustained in an accident.Mandie was born June 7, 1979.Mandie was the prettiest, smartest person ever born into this world. If you knew Mandie then you knew. She loved her beautiful B, her dad, her momma, and her Baby Jake. Not a second will go by that our Mandie will not be missed. A beautiful baby, a great kid and an amazing young woman. Mandie was a 1997 graduate of Ringgold High School, and was employed at Wrigley Manufacturing Inc. Since the age of 5, she was outstanding softball player and played for and attended at Calvary Baptist Church.Survivors include her loving husband, Josh Chitwood and their son, Dylan Chitwood; and in-laws, Anthony and Melvia Chitwood, all of Red Bank; father, Dane Creel Jr.; mother, Lillian Whittemore Creel (Joel Hobbs); brother, Jake Creel (Lia Bodnar); grandparents, Dane and Barbara Creel Sr., and Ed and Avory Whittemore, Ellijay, Ga.; as well as Lewis and Dawn Davis and their family, all of Ringgold, Ga.; as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins from Georgia and Alabama.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Dwight Martin officiating.Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort with the family and view the memorial tribute.Memorial contributions may be made to the Red Bank Animal Hospital, 4416 Dayton Blvd., Chattanooga, TN 37415.The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
