Roger Bailey

Roger Lynn Bailey, 60, Chattanooga, arrived into the Lords Kingdom Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, in a local hospital.He was born in Fort Payne, Ala., on Sept. 27, 1953, and was a longtime resident of the Rossville and Chattanooga areas. Mr. Bailey was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He was retired from Shaw Industries, Ringgold Plant. Mr. Bailey was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. He was a devoted Alabama Crimson Tide fan and enjoyed fishing and all sports.He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Bailey; and loving stepfather, James Seals.Survivors are his daughters, Kristen Bailey, Ooltewah, and Miranda (James) Barnes, Soddy-Daisy; mother, Doll Seals, Rossville; brother, Rickey (Susan) Bailey; granddaughter, Jazlynn Winnie; niece, Wendy Bailey; and former wives and friends, Sharon Eaves and Jo Ann Prater; his aunt, Sonia Hays; several cousins; and his precious dog, Buster.A memorial service for family and friends will be held at Nick-A-Jack Lake Sunday Oct. 27, at 3 p.m. with Brother Shad Smith officiating.
