Cynthia Revis

CHICKAMAUGA Cynthia Lynn Straub Revis, 55, passed away Sunday Oct. 27, 2013, surrounded by her family. She was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed working outdoors in her garden, collecting birdhouses, loved animals of all kinds and was an avid University of Georgia fan. Cynthia was a former employee of Hutcheson Medical Center and has worked the past 7 years for Catoosa County Department of Family and Children Services. She was preceded in death by her only son, Jeremy Revis and father, Charles William Straub, Sr. Cynthia is survived by her mother, Martha Phillips; companion, Ron Graham; siblings, Brenda (Kenny) Evans and Charles Straub; aunts, Judith (Larry) Coulter and Mary Swafford; uncle, David (Mavis) Cain; nephews and niece, Trey (Angela) Parrish, Thomas Parrish and Brooke Parrish.The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29, in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today and prior to the service on Tuesday.
