Norma Griffey

Norma Jean Griffey, 82, of East Ridge, went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013.She was born Oct. 8, 1930, in Hamilton County, a daughter of the late John Wesley Brewer and Della Mae Johnson Brewer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Griffey; a daughter, Melissa Jean Moses; and a son, Johnny Griffey.She attended Spring Creek Road Baptist Church.Survivors include grandchildren, Trista Moses, Amanda Spencer, Scott Griffey and John Griffey; great-grandchildren, Melissa Penland, Kathryn Penland, Orion Spencer, David Spencer, Katlin Spencer, Kayla Griffey, Spencer Griffey and Sam Griffey.Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today, Sept. 4, 2013 at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
