Rickey Duncan

Rickey Lawrence Duncan, 54, of Hixson, passed away Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.He was born Nov. 19, 1958 in Marion, Ala.Mr. Duncan was employed with Kochs Food of Chattanooga for the past 10 years.He was an avid fisherman and Alabama Crimson Tide Fan "Roll Tide".His mother, Sarah Gay Duncan preceded him in death.Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Belinda "Bee" Duncan; father, Alvin Duncan, of Selma, Ala.; children, Jason (Karri) Duncan, of Rossville; Heather (Wes) Yarbrough, of Flintstone, Ga.; Julie (Joe) Beach, of Hixson; brothers, Mike (Angie) Duncan, of Chattanooga; Steve (Shannon) Duncan, of Selma, Ala.; sister, Annette Peek, of Selma, Ala.; grandchildren, Zoe and Ashtyn Duncan, Carley, Emma and Logan Yarbrough, and Drew and Luke Beach; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.Rickey was a loving husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend and will be missed by those whom he loved.A celebration of his life will be held at Praise Park Church, 1 Big Pine Drive, Valley Grande, AL 36701 on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 at 2 p.m. (CDT).Blood donations may be made to Blood Assurance online @ www.bloodassurance.org; or the American Red Cross online @ www.redcross.org/Donations.
