Edward S. Lindberg, 64, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, in a local healthcare facility.He was a graduate of University of Tennessee Chattanooga, was a writer and was of the Jewish faith.He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Smith Lindbergh and Bennie Rachel Gilbert Lindbergh.Survivors include his sisters, Ann Lindbergh Haynes and Denise Lindbergh Doar.Graveside services will be held at noon today, Sept. 9, 2013, at Beth Shalom Cemetery at Lakewood East with Rabbi Shaul Perlstein officiating.Arrangements have been entrusted to Advantage Funeral Cremation Services Franklin-Strickland-Pinkard-Bryan-Smith Funeral Directors, 1724 McCallie Ave. 423-265-4414.
