Mildred Vaughan

RINGGOLD Mildred Martha Vaughan, 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013.She was born in Chattanooga to the late Crit and Lena Lawson, but has lived in the North Georgia area, for most of her life and was of the Methodist faith. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who will be greatly missed by all that knew her.She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas "Buddy" Vaughan; and brother, Raymond Lawson.Survivors include her children and spouses, Jerry and (Cheryl) Thomas Vaughan, Patsy and (Thomas) Callahan and Larry Dean Vaughan, all of Ringgo1d, Ga.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and two nieces and two nephews.Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, in Dailey Hills Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231, 800-242-8721.Arrangements by W.
