ROSSVILLE Darrell Wayne Kitchen, 63, departed this life Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013.He was born in Belmont, N.C., to the late Conley and Pauline Kitchen.He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Leon Kitchen, Alton Kitchen and Doris Kenney.Survivors include his children, Kelly Kitchen, of Rossville, Brian Kitchen, of California, Stacy Peterson, of North Carolina; siblings, Donna Shepherd, John Kitchen, both of North Carolina; grandchildren, Isaiah Thomas "Little Man", Josh, Zach, Brittany, Travis, Brooke; one great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 2 until 8 p.m. today and prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, in the chapel.Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
