Donald S. "Punjab" Visher, 73, a resident of Chattanooga, passed Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at his residence.Donald gave his life to Christ at an early age.He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Addison; father, Benny Visher; sister, Robbie Jean Mitchell.Survivors include son, William Visher, of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; sisters, Katrine Gordon, Minister Patricia Terry, both of Chattanooga and Gwendolyn Rivers, of Fontana, Calif.; brothers, Danny Ray (Shirley) Gordon, of Chattanooga and Michael Gordon, of Los Angeles; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; longtime friends, Billy Cotton and Ernest Bulloch.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at Olivet Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Adams officiating.Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.The visitation is noon until 7 p.m. at the chapel.Family hour from 6 until 7 p.m.Arrangements by Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, Franklin-Strickland-Pinkard- Bryan-Smith Funeral Directors.
