Junelle Lawson

Junelle Tumblin Lawson, 53, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday evening, Sept. 10, 2013. She was a 1977 graduate of Howard High School, a graduate of Edmondson Business College, and attended University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She was currently employed by the Chattanooga School System (Brainerd High School) and a former employee of Provident Insurance Company.Junelle was a long time faithful member of Greater Faith Temple Missionary Baptist Church.Junelle is survived by a son, Christopher M. Winston, Jr.; mother, Willie Mae Lawson; sisters Edwine (Lamar) Trollinger, Carolyn Hawthorne, Patricia Lawson; brothers L. David (Sarah) Lawson, Jr., Jerry Lawson, Donice (Janice) Lawson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and a very special friend, Christopher M. Winston, Sr.The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m.Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the Greater Faith Temple Missionary Baptist Church, 652 East 10th St. Eulogy by Dr.. Nathaniel Carter. Interment: Lakewood-East Memorial Garden. The body will lie in state after Noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
