Doris Kemp Laney, 96, of Roanoke, Ala., formerly of Hixson, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013.Survivors include son, Alan Laney, of Fairview, Tenn.Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel in Roanoke.Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
