Gladys Marie Simpson Bryson, 84, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at a local health care facility.She was a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church, always a caregiver, loved her children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild.She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Bryson; brothers, Howard Rains and Joe B. Simpson; parents, Boskey Simpson and Vesta Collake Simpson.Surviving relatives; daughters, Nadine (Fornie) Bynum, Claudia ( Dr.Tom) Owensby and Amy Holland; sisters, Betty Miller, Wanda Newman and Rosell Mullins; grandchildren, Adam (Genimar) and Matt(Kelley) Holland, Chris (Suzanne), Michael and Amanda Bynum, Kevin (Tammie), Keith (Stephanie) and Kennon (Vanessa) Owensby, Kim (Kurtis) Lewis; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Mason, officiating.The interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort to the family and view the memorial tribute.The family will receive friends noon until 2 p.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral, 7454 East Brainerd Road.
