Nelle Brackett

FAIRHOPE Nelle Ruth Kittle Brackett, a native of Knoxville, past resident of Chattanooga, Birmingham, Ala., Mobile, Ala. and current resident of Fairhope, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, peacefully at her home surrounded by family and loved ones.Mrs. Brackett was born Aug. 25, 1927 in Lenoir City, Tenn.Mrs. Brackett was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Brackett Sr.She is survived by her sons, Carl, Fairhope, and Tom, Mobile; sister, Francis Murray, of Clinton, Tenn.; grandchildren, Lindsey Wagner, Nick Brackett and Anna Brackett; great-grandchild, Addison Wagner; several nieces, nephews; other relatives and many friends.Graveside services will be held at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, from Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Fla.
