Melba VonzaLee Morton, 90, departed this life with her family by her side on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013.She was of the Baptist faith and a retired salesperson.She was preceded in death by her parents, John Willis and Georgia Holcomb; husband, Lowell Morton; sister, Evelyn Holcomb; son, Johnny Williams; grandson, David Sartin; and a great-grandson.She is survived by siblings, Lucille Sartin and Cordell (Linda) Holcomb; children, Juanita (Allen) Hayes, Janith (James) Blackwell, Vonzella Wi1liams, Vivian (Ronnie) Prather; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of loved ones.Graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at Chattanooga Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Steven Granger officiating.Visitation will be from noon to 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.Arrangements by Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services Franklin-Strickland-Pinkard-Bryan-Smith Funeral Directors.
