William "Bill" P. Holden, 70, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at his home with his loving family at his side.He was an active member of Brainerd United Methodist Church and the Kingsbury Sunday School Class. He graduated from Ooltewah High School, attended UTC, served in the US Navy, and was a past president of the Ringgold Rotary Club. He was the owner of Inner Space Systems for the past forty years.He was preceded in death by his father, Otis A. Holden, and his mother, Bonnie Holden; brother-in-law, Rev. Harper Sasser.He leaves to cherish his memory: wife of 35 years, Gweneth Holden; son, Braden (Robyne) Holden; stepson, Donald (Teresa) Brown; stepdaughter, Denita Brown; three brothers, Donald (Reba), Holden, LeBron (Kay) Holden, Jerry Holden; sister, Barbara (Bud) Rhodes; brother-in-law, Rev. Al (Lynne) Cunningham; sister-in-law, Anna Sasser; grandchildren, Ryne Holden, Cory Holden, Billy Gaines and Brittany Gilliam; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, at Brainerd United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Dennis W. Flaugher, the Rev. Al Cunningham, and the Rev. Brian Kurtz officiating.
