Kathleen White Powell, 87, died Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Woodhaven Assisted Living. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Rose Powell; grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel and Gordon Powell; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Powell was retired from Provident Insurance Co. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Amos and Epsie Williams White; husband, Julian Powell; brothers, Doyle, Orbie, Erbie, Roy, Howard, Bruce and Blake Powell; sisters, Irene Meek and Gay McLain.
