Quay Roberts

Isaac Quay Roberts, 79, went home to be with his Lord, Monday, March 31, 2014. He was a member of Baptist Hill Baptist Church, a U.S. Army veteran and a retired employee of Single Mountain Cement. When he wasnt mowing, he could be found at the river fishing. Quay is reunited with his wife of 56 years, Nancy W. Massengale Roberts, whom God called home on March 11, 2014. His parents, Isaac and Lura Dawson Roberts; bothers, Hoyt, A.C. and Jack Roberts; and sisters, Betty Campbell and Lila Mae Poe also preceded him in death. He is survived by his sons, John L. Roberts and William I. "Bill" Roberts and wife, Linda; brother, J.C. Roberts; sisters, Opal McNabb, Anna Layne and Sue Foshee and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CDT Thursday, April 3, 2014, with Brother Derrald Beck officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
