Virginia McClain

Virginia Dee McClain, 74, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014, in a local health care facility. Ms. McClain was born May 18, 1940 to the late James and Nora McClain in Clay County, Tenn. She retired as an engineer with AT&T following more than 20 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her sisters, Jessie (Bob) Rook, Topeka, Kan., Irene Simon, Harrisonburg, Va., and Glena Porman, Swartz Creek, Mich.; several nieces and nephews. Ms. McClain will be buried in Good Hope Cemetery, Livingston, Tenn., at a later date. There will be no public service or visitation. To share expressions of sympathy, visit lane-southcrestchapel.com.
