Deanna Stanton

Deanna Faye Ellis Stanton, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, April 4, 2014. Hers was a life well lived. She was a true friend, doting Ghee-Ghee, nurturing mother and loving wife. Her true passion was serving the Lordwith gladness. Bible study, listening to music, writing poetry, floral design and shoe shopping were among her many hobbies. A member of First Baptist Church of Dunlap, Tennessee. She is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 49 years and nine months, Ralph Edward Stanton; daughter, Raecheal Elizabeth Stanton Todd; and son-in-law, Ronald Todd, Williamsburg, Va.; grandson, William Stanton Bell was both the light of her life and her pride and joy; nephew, Reagan Estes Ellis was like a son to her; and Jan Ray was her best friend in the world. In true southern fashion, her age will forever remain a mysterious "29 and holding." Funeral services will be held Monday, April 7, at 1 p.m. CDT at Standefer-Reed Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Byrd officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
