Ronny Summers

Ronny 'Rabbit" Summers, 63, died Saturday, April 5, 2014, at home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Ronny loved fishing and trail riding with his brother, daughter, and granddaughter, and friends, and attending Lady Vol Basketball games. Ronny was preceded in death by mother, Effie Summers Farmer; father, Claude Sunmiers; step-father, Sam Farmer; brothers, Jimmy, Kenneth, Eddy, and Jerry Summers. Survivors include wife of 36 years, Linda Blye Summers; dauther, Kelly (Chad) Hughey; granddaughters, Ella and Elynn Hughey; sister, Tina Brown (Dave) Goodland; brother, Bobby (Olline) Summers. Service will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Brother Steven Brown officiating. Burial will be in Sumner City Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
