DeJeannette Cardin

DeJeannette Ruth Norton Cardin, 66, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014. She was born in Atlanta, on Aug. 5, 1947, and was a member of Pennville Alliance Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Mae St. Germaine; father, Buford Norton; brothers, Etowah Norton and Dale St. Germaine; sister, Rita Stephens; and one infant son. Survivors include her husband, Billy Cardin; two children, Tammy Travillin, of LaFayette and Michelle Ann, of New Zealand; mother-in-law, Bobbie Jean Stallings; three brothers, Murray, W.B. and Calvin Norton; four sisters, Patsy Barbaree, Gail Akridge, Ann Addington and Annie Cash, eight grandchildren including Webster and Amber Travillion, Tomy Surrett; three great-grandchildren; and 15 Nanos Kids, J.D., Joe Joe, Alyssa, Kelia, Dakoda, Ashley, Kanessa, Justin, Megann, Austin, Jazmin, Shelby, Tanner, Nathan and Jace; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2014, at Pennville Alliance Church, Summerville, GA 30747. Online register book will be available at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
