Mintie Hobbs FLINTSTONE Mintie Grace Barton Hobbs died on Monday, April 7, 2014. She was born Aug. 22, 1938, to the late Wilbur and Mintie Ann Payne Barton in Athens, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her brother, Glenn Barton. Survivors are her husband of 57 years, Gaines Lamar Hobbs; son, Grant Stuart (Debbie) Hobbs, of Chickamauga; daughter, Darcy Ann (Ronny) Hayes, of Lake Wylie, S.C.; grandsons, Tyler Hayes, Lake Wylie, and Jordan Hayes, Chickamauga; brothers, Mark Barton, of Harriman, Tenn.; Ray Barton, and Frank Barton, both of Athens, Tenn.; sister Pearl Coffey, of Marion, Va.
