Robert Georgitso

Robert John Georgitso, 78, of Hixson, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014 in a local hospital. Bob was a member of St Jude's Catholic Church and a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Diann P. Georgitso; three daughters, Lori (Steve) Sharp, of Hixson, Sandra Stephens, of Ringgold, Ga., and Tricia (Wayne) McMeen, of Hixson; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Austin, Tyler, Luke, Ashley, Andy and Addison; and great-grandson, Aiden. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, with Father Charles Burton officiating. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Mary Ellen Locher Foundation. Condolences may be shared at www.lanefh.com.
