Willie Moss I

Willie "Peter Rabbit" Moss I, 67, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014, in Chattanooga. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Fannie Moss; siblings, Deborah Moss, Ruby Woods-Moss and Eddie Moss. Survivors include his children, Tracy Moss, Candice Moss, Willie Moss II; siblings, Judale (Wilbur) Hines, Frances Moss, Pearl (Theotis) Pearson, Hubert (Carmelia) Moss Jr., Anthony (Linda) Moss, Reginald Moss; sister-in-law, Betty Moss. Services will be noon Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Thankful Baptist Church with Pastor Oscar Lockhart Sr. officiating. Interment in National Cemetery. The body will lie in state after noon today and the family will receive friends from 67 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
