Jimmie Bruce

LaFAYETTE Jimmie Doris Littlejohn Bruce, 84, died Thursday, April 17, 2014. She is a member of Chattooga Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Ray Bruce. Survived by her brother-in-law, Guy Jr. and wife Louise Bruce, of LaFayette; nieces, Kay and husband, Fentress Horner, of LaFayette, Kerrie and husband Mike Draper, of Memphis, Lynn Hartness, of Boston, and Beth and husband, Don Kelley, of LaFayette; nephews, Kyle and wife, Cindy Bruce, and Ken and Alisa Bruce, all of LaFayette; several cousins also survive. Family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Rosewood Assisted living, and the Staff of Life Choice Hospice. Graveside service at the Chattooga Baptist Church Cemetery at 3 p.m. today. Service conducted by the Rev. George Palmer and Ken Bruce. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. The arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
