Steven Neperud

Steven Erik Neperud, 62, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Beverly Park Place. Steve attended South Pittsburg High School, graduating in 1969. He then attended University of Tennessee where he received a master of science in 1975. Throughout his adult years he enjoyed college football and NASCAR. He was an avid scuba diver, camper, and enjoyed spending time at the lake. His latter years were spent taking care of his elderly mother and working part time at the University of Tennessee. His daughter, Courtney would like to thank the staff at Beverly Park Place, Fort Sanders Hospital, and his many lifelong friends. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Norma Neperud. Survivors include daughter, Courtney Leanne Neperud; brother, Wilson Neperud Jr. and wife Jeanne; and nephew, Erik Neperud and wife, Beth. Interment will be held at Christ Episcopal Church in South Pittsburg, Tenn., at a later date.
