Alvin Mull

Alvin Andrew Mull, 74, passed away on Wednesday morning, April 16, 2014, at his residence. Alvin was born in Polk County, Tenn. on Oct. 4, 1939, a son of the late Cecil Albert Mull and Lucille Stewart Mull. He was of the Baptist faith. Alvin was a member of the Masonic lodge, the Shriners and also an avid CB radio enthusiast. In addition to his parents, Alvin, was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Bryson. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Mildred Mull; two sons and three stepsons, Brian Mull (Dot), Vince Mull, Dale McCoin, Rickey McCoin, and Danny McCoin; one daughter, and one stepdaughter, Yuleen Mull and Bonnie Heaton; three brothers, Larry Mull (Sherry), Danny Mull (Sarah) and Mike Mull (Kelly); three grandchildren, Andrew Mull, Melissa Mull and Melanie Mull. He also leaves behind many stepgrandchildren, friends, family, and his special CB buddies. The family will receive friends today, April 20, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. and also on Monday, April 21, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service time in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, Tenn. Following the Celebration of life service at 1 p.m. on Monday, interment will take place in the Lee Cemetery with Rickey McCoin, Danny McCoin, Cole Tatum, Stephen McCoin, Eric McCoin and Clayton Delaney serving as pallbearers.
