LaFAYETTE LaWanda Little Ware, 77, died Friday, April 18, 2014. She is a member of the Gospel Light Fellowship Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Williams; son, Jeff Ware; sister, Betty Ruth Cook; and brother, Bobby Little. Survived by her daughters, Tara Ware Gooden and Michelle Simmons, both of LaFayette; sons, Roger Ware, of South Carolina, Stacy Ware, of Germany and Joey Ware, of Ringgold; sisters, Sheila Reed, of Dalton, Sharon Elrod, of LaFayette and Denis Clopton, of Chickamauga; brother, Bill Little, of LaFayette; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral from the Gospel Light Fellowship Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Pastor Chris Spears, Pastor Malcolm Harris and Pastor Paul Goodman officiating. Pallbearers are grandsons. Interment in LaFayette Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. On Tuesday, LaWanda will lie in state at the Church from 1 p.m. until service time. The arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
