Alton Layman

Mr. Alton E. Layman, 59, died Saturday April 19, 2014. He was born in Palmer, Tenn. on May 7, 1954, to Everett and Katherine Sanders Layman who preceded him in death along with his sisters, Cassie Massingill, Peggy Lowe, Nancy Layman and Sherry Blaylock; daughter, Mary Katherine Layman. He is survived by his wife, Pam Layman; sons, Chris Adams, Dalton, Ga, Scott Krahn, Altamont, Dale (Stephanie) Krahn, Tracy City, Joseph Layman and Blake (Caitlyn) Layman, Tracy City; daughters, Amy Bivens, Chatsworth, Ga. and Tiffany (Adam) Denton; brother, Steve (Beverly) Layman; sisters, Linda (Leon) Brooks, Ethelene Blaylock and Darlene Blair; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Don Hill officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery.
