Norman Headrick

Norman Lee Headrick, 78, of Hixson, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014. He was a "number one self-made man". Survivors include his wife, Peggy Hayes, of Whitwell; daughters, Della Headrick, of Hixson, Debra Headrick, of Hixson, Vickie Williams, of Fort Oglethorpe, and Alice Bowman, of Lafayette, Ind.; sons, Bill Headrick, of Nashville, Doyle Ray Headrick, of Whitwell, Benny Satterfield, of Houston, Texas, Norman DeWayne, of Whitwell and Mike Satterfield, of Dayton; sister, Angie (Michael) Burnett, of Red Bank; brother, Walter McNabb, of Red Bank; 22 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, with Minister Ken Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
