Martha Westbrook

Martha Sue Westbrook, 83, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother that enjoyed cooking for everyone. She was a devout Christian of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Winnie Veale, one brother, one sister, two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Travis "Pop" Westbrook; daughters Linda (Danny) Swafford, Apison, Tenn., Susan (Randy) Gross, Apison, Christine Spencley, Trenton, Ga., Emily Westbrook, Rising Fawn, Ga.; sons, Travis "Tab" ( Robin) Westbrook, Jr., Rising Fawn, Ga., David (Brenda) Westbrook, Madison, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Anita Watkins Thomaston; nieces, nephews and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. EDT Friday, April 25, at Cloverdale Baptist Church with Brother Richard Ellis officiating.
