Reva Parham

Reva Thompson Parham, of Red Bank, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014, after a long battle with cancer. She was 94 years old. Reva was born in Decatur, Tenn., and was a 1939 graduate of Central High School. She has been a sales person for Miller Brothers Department Store, a bookkeeper for McWhorter Drugs and Arps Pharmacy and was a cosmetician at Eckerd Drugs. Reva was a longtime member of Red Bank Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, T. Broughton Parham; parents, Bertha and Sam Thompson; sister, Ruby Lee Rogers; and brother, Raymond W. Thompson. Reva is survived by her daughters, Lynda (Gary) Stewart and Ann (Chip) Kell; grandchildren, Dustin Broughton (Jenifer) Kell, Abby (Lyle) Schlueter and Annie Kell and her finance Levi Worley; great-grandchildren, Katheryn, Caden and Kendyl Kell; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on today, April 27, and again from 3 to 4 p.m. on Monday at the North Chapel. Services for Reva will follow at 4 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home chapel with Doctor Sam Greer, Rev. Stephen Streett and Rev. Bert Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
