Robert Atterton

Robert William Atterton, 65, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Robert Atterton, Ruth McGowan Atterton and brother, Patrick Atterton. Mr. Atterton was a member of Cumberland Mountain Church of God in Mountain Olive. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Sheila Rankin Atterton; son, Nathan (Jennifer) Atterton; sister, Sandra Campbell; brothers, Danny Atterton, Kenny (Rose) Atterton, Glenn (Jennifer) Atterton; three grandchildren, Noah, Saydee, Savannah, all of Whitwell. Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m., today, April 27, 2014 at the Cumberland Mountain Church of God in Mountain Olive. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2014 at the Cumberland Mountain Church of God in Mountain Olive with the Rev. Jerry Basham officiating. Interment at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
