Robert Hoover Sr.

Robert Ted Hoover Sr. passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014. Mr. Hoover was owner and operator of RT Customs for several years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved making people laugh. He enjoyed gardening, loved animals and nature. Mr. Hoover served his country in the United States Navy. Survivors include his son, Robert (Rachel) Hoover Jr., of Dalton, GA; daughters, Jana Hoover, of Flintstone, and Jennifer (Andrew) Hoover Hayes, of Benton, Tenn.; a brother; David (Carolyn) Hoover, of Flintstone, Ga. and nine grandchildren. Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. in the Flintstone United Methodist Church, Flintstone, with the Rev. Vernon Windom officiating. Entombment will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery where Military Honors will be conducted. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour at the church.
