Charles Huskey

Charles Calvin Huskey, 65, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014. He was born in Trion, Georgia on June 28, 1948. Charles was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Chickamauga, the former owner/operator of Huskey Knitting Mills and he enjoyed fishing and collecting and restoring classic cars. He was preceded in death by his father, John Huskey; step-father, Edger T. Wilson; two brothers, Ricky and Walter Huskey. Survivors include his loving wife, Kay Lilly Huskey, of LaFayette; son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Katie Huskey, of Rock Spring; step-daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Thomas Fink, of Cadiz, Ky.; step-son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Kristen Lilly , of Hopkinsville, Ky.; mother, Alma Lorene Wilson; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie T. and Vickie Wilson , of LaFayette; sister, Carolyn Seritt, of Newnan, Ga.; brother and sister-in-law, Jonathan and Hilda Wilson, of Chickamauga; eight grandchildren, Cory, Dianna, Payton, Madison, Garrett, Eric, Zander and Kenslee; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. today and prior to the funeral service Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Craig Thomas and Pastor Michael Smith officiating.
