Ethelyn Willicombe

Ethelyn Willicombe Ethelyn P. Willicombe, 86, East Ridge, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014, in a local healthcare center. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, she was former vice president and secretary for East Ridge Florist for many years. Mrs. Willicombe was a member of First Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Willicombe, and daughter, Joy Kimbro. Survivors are her children, Rev. Steven Willicombe, Hartland, Wis., Janis Hartwig, Concordia, Mo., Luanne Neill, Des Moines, Iowa, and Lori Rogers, Chattanooga; sisters, Betty Baldi, Downers Grove, Ill. and Lois Filipiak, Chicago; 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at First Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark McCroy officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
