Virginia Griffith

Virginia Griffith, 84, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Virginia was born in Chattanooga to the late Luther and Louise Hixson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Webber N. Griffith; siblings, Alene Vandergriff, Ada Guinn and John Hixson. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Marsha (Marvin)McConathy; son, Wayne Griffith; grandchildren, Ginny Brown, Alma Goodman and Brent Griffith; great-grandchildren, Bradley Lowe, Kim Lowe, Elizabeth Goodman; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today, Aug. 1, at the North Chapel. A celebration of life service for Virginia will be held at 10 a.m Saturday at the funeral home.
