Terrye Miller

Terrye Lynn Miller, 51, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014. Terrye was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area. She was a 1983 graduate of Kirkman Technical School and received her Associates Degree from Chattanooga State in 1986 in American Sign Language. Terrye was a longtime member of Concord Baptist Church and was currently attending Briarwood Baptist Church in Ringgold, Georgia. She loved to crochet and was an avid quilter and enjoyed the quilting guild she attended. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Miller. Terrye is survived by her father, David E. Miller; brother, Brian Miller and wife Michele; nieces and nephews, Zachary Miller of Pensacola, Fla., Andrew Miller of Charlottesville, Va.; Bethany Miller and Nathaniel Miller, both of Chesapeake, Va.; and lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today, Aug. 3, and from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Monday at the North Chapel. A celebration of Terryes life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jim Boyd officiating. . Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
