William Schultz

William Kemzie Schultz, 66, passed away on Friday, Aug. 1, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was of the Christian faith. He was a Captain in the U.S. Army where he earned the Bronze Star, Vietnam Service Medal with two campaign stars and the Korean Service Medal and a Purple Heart. He was an Honorary Junior Shriner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Schultz. He is survived by his children, Tammie Loyack of Chattanooga, Kem Schultz of Knoxville, Tracy Jeroutek of Knoxville, and Chrissy Moore of Sevierville; grandchildren, LCpl Jesse Edwards of Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Alex Edwards and Logan Loyack of Boaz, Ala., Sylvania and Chase Moore, Kailey and Matthew Schultz and Micah and Seth Jeroutek; brother, Harry Schultz of Panama City, Fla.; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Chattanooga National Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
