Layton Wilson

Layton S. Wilson, 55, of Apison, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, in a local hospital. Mr. Wilson was the owner of Layton Wilson Painting since 1982. He was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnn Walker Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Kari Wilson; three sons, Jamie (Lisa) Wilson, Josh Wilson and Joel Wilson; four grandchildren, Tyler, Hunter, Jena and Katie Wilson; father, Larunce Wilson; brothers, Larry (Dena) Wilson, Lawrence Wilson, Luke (Sherry) Wilson; sisters, Kathy (Johnny) Ware and Christina Wilson (Jimmy Richards); several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Fletcher Farris officiating. Burial will follow at Plowman Cemetery.
