Lela Turner

Lela Mae Turner, 78, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014. She attended Howard High School. She is survived by son, Alex Leon Turner; brothers, Ralph Chatman, Ronald (Deborah) Chatman; two granddaughters: sister-in-law, Joyce Chatman; four great-grandchildren; special and devoted family, The Skaggs; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 9, at Greater Bush Grove Baptist Church, 1455 W 4th Ave., Knoxville, TN 37921, Rev. Eugene Carter, officiating. The celebration of life will begin at 1 p.m. with receiving of friends and services following at 1:30 p.m. Final arrangements entrusted to Jarnigan & Son Mortuary. Announced by John P.
