Joe Beckett

James Walter "Joe" Beckett, 59, of Hixson, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014. Joe was born Nov. 16, 1954 in Houston, Texas to the late Frank Simpson Beckett and Nancy Jane Mistell. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Goodlad Beckett; son, Christopher James Beckett and wife, Susanne; daughter, Katie Erin Beckett; siblings, Janice Beckett Lutterbie, Charles Perry Beckett and wife, Marcie, Jonathan Dean Wickersham and wife, Jacki; and extended family. He was of the Catholic faith and employed with Fulmer Concrete in Chattanooga. A celebration of Joes life will be held at 2 p.m. today in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
