Arthur Hughes NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. Arthur "Sonny" Hughes, 71, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014, at his home. Preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Nadine, he is survived by his son, Scotty (Linda)Meredith; daughter, Lyn Wright; sister, Verline (Bob)Miller; grandson, Scott Meredith; granddaughter, Meredith Wright; and friend, Ted Abbond. Visitation will be held from noon-1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at Orchard Church, 763 Battlefield Parkway, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742. Memorial service to follow directly.
