Larry Hefner

Larry Wayne Hefner, 69, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, at Hamilton Medical Center. He was the son of the late, Jasper Loyd and Bonnie Kate Isenhower Hefner. He was preceded in death by his brother, Taft Hefner; and his father-in-law, Claude Self. Wayne was a member of Sumach Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Wayne is survived by his wife, Claudette Self Hefner of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Hitesh Chavda, of Chattanooga; son, Michael Gazaway, of Dalton; grandchildren, Asha, Cohen, Kaelan and Karsan; daughter-in-law and her husband, Kelly and Brent Hamill, of Chickamauga; mother-in-law, Inez Self, of Dalton; sisters, Margie Wallace, of Cohutta and Wanda (Jerry) Doleshall, of South Carolina; sisters-in-law, Sandra Hefner, of Dalton and Carolyn Rollins; brother-in-law, Terry (Brenda) Self; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Nick Coker officiating. Burial will follow in Sumach Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to ones favorite charity or to Childrens Advocacy Center, 419 N Market St., Chattanooga, TN 37405.
