Duane Carr

Duane Allan Carr, 46, passed away Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at his home. He was a member of Ewtonville Baptist Church and had a strong faith in Jesus Christ. He was employed by Norfolk Southern Railroad, was a huge supporter of Sequatchie County High football and enjoyed coaching Little League for several years. He was preceded in death by his father, Dwain Carr; maternal grandparents, James and Geneva Kilgore; paternal grandparents, Benton and Dean Carr. He is survived by his daughter, Lindsay Carr; son, Gage Carr; mother, Mildred Carr; sister, Melissa (Bud) Carr Rosson; brother, Shane (Meagan)Kilgore, all of Dunlap; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. CDT today, Aug. 10, in the funeral home chapel with Brother Brian Kearns officiating. Burial will be in Condra Cemetery.
